Example 1 of a 7-day Tour
Day 1
You will be collected by your personal tour guide from Glasgow Airport and taken to your beautiful Country House set In the rugged hills of Argyll on the banks of the Holy Loch. You will be given time to settle in and unpack.In the afternoon you will be taken for a short drive around a few local scenic spots to familiarise yourselves with the area. A Champagne welcome in the evening at ‘the local’ which is a beautiful Country Inn and you will enjoy a delicious dinner of Scottish Fayre lovingly cooked by chef using local produce. Your tour director, personal Co-ordinator and your tour guide will be joining you.Day 2
After a full Scottish breakfast we proceed to the beautiful town of Inverary and visit the castle of The Duke of Argyll, The Chief Of the Clan Campbell. You may also wish to visit the Jail, witness how prisoners were dealt with, court procedures, meet the warden and matron and mix with the prisoners !!!!! Dinner in the evening at a Scottish Oyster Bar and then your driver will take you home.Day 3
After breakfast a stunning drive to the Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. A visit to the pretty town of Balloch before heading to Rob Roy Country. You are now surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland and you will learn about one of Scotland’s favourite heroes. In fact you can even have Rob Roy join you for dinner in the evening if you wish! After an early dinner overlooking the Loch you will be driven home.Day 4
Up early for a drive to Stirling Castle. Here you will be given a personal pre-opening professional tour of one of Scotland’s Ancient Monuments and part of our built heritage. This once outstandingly beautiful Renaissance Palace was home to James V and his Queen, Marie de Guise, the parents of Mary Queen of Scots. The Palace is at present in the process of being restored to its original splendour and there is much to be seen and learned here of the lives and the times of the romantic Stuart Dynasty. After your tour you will have breakfast in the vaults of the Great Hall where, if you wish it, you may have Mary Queen Of Scots and her chancellor join you for breakfast. A rare treat !!! And if there is a member of your party who is celebrating a special birthday a knighthood can even be negotiated with ‘Her Majesty’ All good fun of course but memories are made of experiences such as these. You will then be taken to the Wallace Monument which you will have seen from the Castle. Built in memory of our national hero Sir William Wallace who fought and died for the freedom of his beloved country and people. You will then be exhausted !!! Your guide will take you home and a late buffet supper will be waiting for you.Day 5
After breakfast you will be going sailing on a Tall Ship around the idyllic Argyll coast. You will be staying on the Ship overnight and dinner will be served docked in one of the little coves along the coastline.Day 6
You will return to the house in the early evening and as this will be your last evening a celebration dinner will be held for you in The Inn. One of the team will join you for drinks to hear all about your trip.Day 7
Today you will be taken to your airport hotel but on the way we will take you to Hill House, the stunning home was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for the publisher Walter Blackie and Family. Then its off to your airport hotel and we say our goodbyes but also ‘haste ye back’During your tour you will be staying in quality Hotels and #Country Inns, including dinner, bed and breakfast every day. You are also provided with your own people carrier, personal driver and tour guide.
